Each room provides a calm and welcoming environment where you will be in the capable hands of our Principal Osteopath Ben Cohen and his staff.
Ben Cohen's inspiration to become an Osteopath stemmed from his voluntary work with people aged 70-102. He became aware of just how much pain impacted upon their lives, and how their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities had become effected. It was from this experience that he decided to pursue a career in healthcare.
After shadowing various healthcare practitioners including Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists he found his vocation. Ben trained for 4 years at Leeds Metropolitan University to acheive a Masters degree in Osteopathy. Training included more than 1500 hours of clinical experience, which is where he gained a special interest in rehabilitating patients with severe back pain injuries, and treating patients suffering with desk-related postural issues.
Ben's ethos is that every patient's problem is unique and therefore requires a specific, tailor-made treatment plan. He uses a holistic approach to diagnose the root cause of an individual's problem rather than just treating the symptoms.
