What Can a Paediatric Cranial Osteopath Help With?

There are a range of common conditions your baby may present with, some of which may be the result of forces exerted on the baby during labour and birth (natural/C-section) i.e through ventouse or forceps delivery, or even from the stresses passed on to the baby during pregnancy. Some of these presentations include tongue-tie, plagiocephaly, colic and reflux, all of which are conditions that our Paediatric Osteopaths work with.

Your Osteopath will carry out a thorough assessment to establish the cause of your baby's symptoms. Following this, there will be a treatment plan as well as advice and guidance given as to the appropriate next steps that need to be taken in order to help your baby.

There can be a number of reasons for physical or mental changes in your baby which can present in a number of ways. Some of these include: unsettled behaviour, wind/flatulence, feeding and sleeping difficulties, vomiting, constipation/diarrhoea and disturbed sleep.

Your baby can be seen by one of our Paediatric, Cranial Osteopaths whether they have any of the symptoms or conditions mentioned above or even just for a general check-up, reassurance and advice.

If you have any questions or would like to know if we are able to help with something that is not mentioned above, please get in touch by either emailing us at ben@bencohenosteopathy.com or calling us on 020 8418 1331.
