The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) defines osteopathy as “A system of diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, it works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle, that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.” Osteopathic training takes a minimum of 4 years of study which generally involves over 2000 hours of clinical experience.
Osteopaths are experienced in the treatment of back and neck pain, shoulder pain, hip and knee pain, sciatica, pregnancy-related issues e.g. pelvic girdle dysfunction & SPD, TMJ, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, nerve entrapment and many other causes of pain.

Dinos is one of our back pain specialists and has a wealth of knowledge and experience having spent time training with some of the top therapists across the UK. His specialist field is in the treatment of lower back and neck pain. He graduated with a Masters degree in Osteopathy at Leeds Beckett University and has worked in clinic for several years treating patients for a variety of conditions including sciatica, hip/knee pain, neck and shoulder pain as well as disc-related injuries.
Previously working in a multidisciplinary clinic, he has worked closely alongside Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Sports and Rehab Therapists and Massage Therapists.
Dinos is also qualified in the use of Kinesiology Taping, Dry Needling (commonly known as Medical Acupuncture). Dinos is a musculoskeletal specialist and therefore is experienced in the treatment of a wide range of conditions including: sciatica, neck/shoulder injuries, tennis/golfers elbow, plantar fasciitis, headaches and many other common problems.
Dinos' philosophy is that every patient's case is unique, and therefore requires a specific, tailor-made treatment plan and rehabilitation program in order to give that patient the best care possible.
His passion for helping individuals and his kind and friendly manner, makes patients feel at ease in their consultation and enables the patient to relax in their journey to recovery.
