The role at a glance
Basis: self-employed associate. Location: in-person clinical work at an agreed BCO clinic. Days and hours: to be discussed according to your availability and clinic requirements. Start date: to be agreed. Remuneration: associate fee arrangements discussed directly with Ben; no fixed salary or guaranteed patient volume is advertised.
Your clinical work
Take a thorough case history; assess symptoms, movement and function; explain findings and treatment options clearly; provide appropriate osteopathic treatment; and support recovery through exercise, education and self-management. Keep clear clinical records, obtain informed consent and involve patients in decisions about their care.
Who we are looking for
Current GOsC registration, appropriate professional indemnity insurance, sound clinical reasoning and clear communication. You should recognise the limits of your competence and arrange onward referral or further investigation when appropriate.
